Inspiring others to

Get Creative and Get Outdoors.

Fine art gallery showcasing wildlife artists, photographers, and apparel designers.

This space was created to bring people closer to the natural world. WAQ provides the opportunity to bring a piece of the outdoors home in the form of art, photos, apparel, jewelry, and many other handcrafted goods. So many of us travel to the Rockies specifically to take in vast beauty of wilderness, Wilderness Art Quarry offers the ability to take home a little bit of the beauty. Every Quarry member has captured wild moments in time and brought the outdoors in for you to enjoy.

Owner Sean Vera, born in Sidney, NE. Spent most of his days outdoors playing and exploring the western Nebraska bluffs and woods along with many trips to the Black Hills of South Dakota. These adventures, big or small, combined with his huge imagination and artistic family members lead to Sean’s style and subject matter of art.

Sean’s had many experiences and opportunities along the way such as: working alongside Muralist Jess Nelson, for a private commission, which Sean was a part of for 5 years, to the many hunting and backpacking trips, and fishing in the Black Hills. Sean’s passion for art and the outdoors inspired the idea of creating a place where he could build a community of other like-minded individuals to share their stories and creative expressions from their wilderness experiences and offer that to the people who also seek these natural wonders.

The Gallery/Store front and art classes are only the first steps of the vision Sean holds for Wilderness Art Quarry. The goal is to create a gathering place for live music, art festivals, outdoor activities/learning opportunities, private events, even 4x4/Overlander adventure meets, and so much more!
